Gill & Lagodich Studios produce custom-made frames designed in-house, working from artist sketches, ideas suggested by interior designers, and professional architectural drawings. In addition to custom-made replicas of period frames from our inventory —perhaps changing the size, molding width or color to suit a particular interior— G&L Studios also fabricate frames with new designs in wood or gilded patinas, and will skillfully modify period frames for specific decorative purposes, including arched or 3-sided headboards, medicine cabinet doors, custom-antiqued mirror panels, door, and wall inserts.

DECORATIVE MIRRORS

Many Gill & Lagodich elegant antique and modern frames can be replicated or modified for mirrors in your choice of finish — silver, gold, or palladium leaf; ebonized, white gesso, or other painted finish. Molding width and outside dimensions can be adjusted to suit your interior. A few examples are pictured here.

RH — RESTORATION HARDWARE

Since 2014 Gill & Lagodich has provided RH galleries across the world with a selection of beautiful display mirrors. To date: 160 antique frames and over 100 custom-made replicas of period frames from our own collection. A small selection of our work is pictured here.

Gill & Lagodich mirrors help set the stage internationally at RH Aynho—England, RH Brussels, RH Montreal, RH Munich, and RH Madrid.

For our inaugural RH project Gill & Lagodich provided over 40 "prop" frames for the October 2014 launch of RH West Hollywood / The Gallery on Melrose Avenue. Many of our mirrors are  displayed on ascending walls of the grand three-story staircase.

In the decade since, we’ve provided many other RH galleries with similar groupings of our antique and replica mirrors.
